The Indian Navy has released the official notification for the Agniveer Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme. A total of 1400 vacancies (including 280 for female candidates) are to be filled for the 2025 batch. Eligible and interested unmarried male and female candidates can apply online for this exciting opportunity to serve the nation through the Indian Navy.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics & Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from a recognized Board.

Age Limit:

Candidates should be born between 01 November 2004 to 30 April 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Marital Status:

Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection Process:

The selection of Agniveer SSR candidates will be done through the following stages:

1. Shortlisting based on marks obtained in 10+2

3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
4. Medical Examination
